Dear student,
Daily life hasn't always been easy for us in 2020. Apart from the usual situations that us students tend to face year after year in exams, maybe having trouble with your best friend, presentations, questions concerning finances, a pile of dishes in the kitchen etc., if you just came to Germany there's a whole lot of new stuff going on anyway that needs getting used to... As if that wasn't enough: we're in the middle of a pandemic that has us all running around in circles and international politics have seen better times, too.
A lot of weight to bear? Definitely.
Hard to process? Likely.
Better solved and processed in a supporting community of people offering an open ear, exchange of ideas and some guidance though problems and tough times? Absolutely - you're not alone. Which is why we'd love to invite you to a workshop where we'll provide a platform to talk about your experiences so far and offer some assistance on how to keep on going strong even if the wind blows sideways.
Join us online on Friday, August 21, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm (CEST) and let's help each other. Register online at mentoring@ia.uni-stuttgart.de until August, 19.
