In May 2020 the KfW student loan was opened for international students and made interest-free by the german government as part of the Corona Stimulus program. The loan is interest-free until 31.12.2021. International students, who are enrolled in a german university and are registered residents in Germany can apply until 15th February for the loan at the KfW bank.
