You are curious about German everyday life? You are interested in improving your German language skills?
Then a two-week homestay with a German host family is just the right thing for you! It’s an excellent opportunity to learn about German culture and meet new people.
When ?
The homestay lasts up to two weeks and can be organized around your preferred dates throughout the year!
Where?
The accommodation will be in a host family outside your city of study in order to fully experience another region of Germany. Your host family could be a couple or a single person, both possible with or without children.
How?
The application is open up to eight weeks prior to the start date. Potential start dates and the link to the online application are shown on our website on experiment-ev.de/application-fis
What else?
The homestay is organized by Experiment e.V. with support from the German Federal Foreign Office. Therefore, the program fee is only 40 Euros. The fee includes accommodation, food, and costs for travelling (by train) to and from the host family, however, it does not include personal expenses.
