Hello,
Femtec GmbH in Berlin, together with its partners from science, industry and research, has been running the career-building program for female engineering and natural science students for many years with great success. Meanwhile more than 1500 young women have participated in this program. The University of Stuttgart has been a partner university since 2005 and already enabled more than 160 of its female students to participate. The program prepares female students for future leadership roles in business and/or academia over the course of a year alongside their studies, and they can also acquire ECTS credits for their interdisciplinary qualifications. In three consecutive schools, the scholarship holders work during their studies on topics that are important today and tomorrow:
•Career Development
•Innovation & Co-Creation
•Building Networks
Scholarship recipients become part of an ever-growing network of Femtec alumnae, partner companies and universities spread across numerous industries and countries. In addition, the scholarship holders gain access to exciting contacts with our partner companies and authentic insights into their working worlds. For the 43rd round, which starts in March 2023, we are currently looking for determined and ambitious female students who are successful in their studies and want to set the course for a successful career start in good time.
Our target group is female students at the beginning of their master's studies (optimal: approx. 1.5 years before graduation), preferably from the subjects of electrical engineering and information technology, energy technology, computer science, mechanical engineering and related subjects, materials science or industrial engineering. A list of the courses of study addressed at the University of Stuttgart study programs can be found here.
Our scholarship holders tell us again and again that they are particularly motivated when you, as a professor and important contact person, also recommend Femtec and our program. We would therefore be very pleased if you could point out the program to suitable female students and pass on the information to your teaching staff. The program language of the Career Building Program is English (language level B2).
In order for you to be able to present the most important information about the group of people responsible for the project (universities of the TU9 network, ETH Zurich,11 large companies, 1 research institute, Femtec GmbH Berlin) and the program for female students in your events or those of your employees, we are also sending you a few slides enclosed here.
