Dear students,
as an international student at the University of Stuttgart, you could probably already gather many cultural experiences, met new inspiring people and hopefully got to see many beautiful places during your time here!
In order to inform other interested students about the valuable aspects of studying abroad, the IZ hosts an Asian Evening on May 22, 2019 about the countries China, Japan, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan. On this evening, former outgoing students from the mentioned countries and international students from these areas like you, will together give an impression about the culture and their experiences by holding a small presentation with pictures, music or whatever you prefer (about 15 minutes for each country group). Afterwards we will all sit together, chat and have delicious country-specific food.
Certainly, you could give valuable insights into your culture and therefore inspire other students to go abroad. Also, this is a great chance to get in touch with other Asian but also German students that are interested in your country and maybe they can in return give you some helpful information for your stay here. An event like this only works with this personal exchange and therefore, we would be really thankful if you could apply until April 3, 2019.
At the end of April/beginning May, there will then be a first organizational meeting where you will meet the other students and we will talk about the details of the Asian Evening.

Event: on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 6:30 pm in the IZ (food preparations starting at about 3.30 pm; should the group be bigger, some could also come later)
Orga Meeting: end of April/beginning May (the exact date will be arranged via a Doodle survey)
